Job Purpose
This role leads the development, commercialization, and governance of SIB's institutional liability and cash management portfolio - the foundation of the Bank's funding strategy and transactional banking growth. Covering CASA, Wakala, Escrow, and Cash Management solutions, it directly drives liquidity strength, cost efficiency, and fee income. Operating cross-functionally looking after CBG and LBG segments, the incumbent will grow deposits, optimize funding mix, and expand transactional engagement through Sharia-compliant, seamlessly enabled, and commercially competitive solutions.
Ultimately, the role acts as a strategic enabler, translating client needs into profitable, compliant, and technology-driven solutions that reinforce value proposition in Islamic transaction banking.
- Grow deposits book in terms of CASA / Wakala growth and optimize revenues from funds.
- Increase fee and FX income by driving growth in transactional revenues & expand active clients.
- Launch targeted campaigns to grow operating accounts and FX income.
- Maintain Sharia and Regulatory alignment, with timely PPG/SOP reviews.
- Enhance client experience by improving onboarding TAT.
- Develop and execute strategies to grow the deposit base, focusing on CASA and Wakala balances across Corporate and Institutional clients.
- Optimize product pricing, tiering structures, and liquidity mix in coordination with Treasury.
- Introduce differentiated propositions & sector‑specific features to attract &retain strategic clients.
- Monitor monthly performance dashboards to track growth, spreads, and product profitability, recommending corrective actions where needed.
- Drive transactional revenue expansion by increasing client adoption of payments, collections, and liquidity products.
- Work closely with Treasury to cross‑sell FX solutions and integrate them into cash flow products.
- Identify high‑volume clients and sectors to increase fee income contribution through bundled product propositions.
- Regularly review fees performance & margins to enhance competitiveness and profitability.
- Launch campaigns to boost CASA balances, Operating accounts, and FX transaction volumes.
- Collaborate with RMs, Segment Heads, and Marketing to design sector‑focused and seasonal campaigns with clear ROI metrics.
- Develop campaign toolkits including offers, marketing collateral, and client materials.
- Track campaign performance through incremental deposits, fee growth, and client activation ratios.
- Ensure full compliance with Sharia, and internal risk frameworks for all liability and cash products.
- Maintain updated PPGs, and process documentation, ensuring timely reviews and version control.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders for approvals, reporting, and closure of observations.
- Uphold transparency and governance discipline across product design, pricing, and execution processes.
- Improve onboarding turnaround time (TAT) and simplify account‑opening processes through workflow optimization and digital solutions.
- Collaborate with Operations, and IT to streamline mandates, documentation, and approval flows.
- Enhance customer journeys to deliver faster activation and higher satisfaction.
- Continuously monitor client feedback and service KPIs to identify pain points and implement experience improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Business or Finance; postgraduate or specialized certification preferred.
- Strong expertise in Islamic liability and deposit structures (Current, Call, Wakala, Mudaraba).
- Solid understanding of cash management solutions (Account Services, Payments, Collections, Liquidity & Sweeping, and Escrow).
- Proven ability to design, price, and manage liability and transactional banking products.
- Proficient in data analytics, reporting, and governance (PPGs, SOPs, regulatory compliance).
- Effective stakeholder collaboration across Treasury, Risk, Legal, Compliance, Operations, and Sharia.
- Strong communication, presentation, and execution skills.

-15 years in corporate product management, liabilities, or transaction banking. - Proven record in CASA growth, and fee income optimization.
- Experience in product governance, Escrow product management, and regulatory liaison.
- Strong exposure to UAE/GCC markets and Sharia-compliant liability structures.
- Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and deliver business impact.
