QA/QC Multi Inspector

Orbit International Survey Services LLC (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced and qualified QA/QC Multi Inspector to support onshore construction projects. The role is responsible for ensuring that all piping, welding, coating, and associated mechanical works are executed in full compliance with project specifications, approved procedures, applicable international standards, and client requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Comply with Client Lifesaving Rules and all Contractor/Subcontractor HSE requirements.
  • Witness and monitor construction activities including installation of piping systems, pressure vessels, and storage tanks.
  • Perform inspections and tests in accordance with approved Inspection & Test Plans (ITP), Quality Procedures, and Method Statements.
  • Ensure subcontractors are working with up-to-date standards, specifications, procedures, and drawings.
  • Verify calibration status of testing and measuring instruments as per project specifications.
  • Participate in receiving inspections of materials and equipment at site, as required.
  • Conduct and monitor welding inspections, NDE activities, PWHT, and hydrostatic testing.
  • Inspect blasting and painting activities including AG/UG coating systems.
  • Raise punch items and verify closure upon completion of work.
  • Issue inspection reports and follow up on Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or Diploma (3 years) in relevant technical discipline
  • CSWIP 3.1/3.2 or AWS Certified Welding Inspector
  • Painting certification: BGAS Level 2 or NACE Level 2 or equivalent.
  • ASNT Level 2 PT, MT, UT, RT or equivalent
  • Conversant with API 510, API 570, API 650
  • 10 years minimum experience in inspection of onshore construction activities
  • Proficient in Windows Operating system, MS Office – Word, Excel
  • Excellent communication, reporting skills in English (verbal and written).
  • Excellent knowledge in Process Piping fabrication and erection with thorough knowledge of various materials CS, SS, DSS, Inconel and good experience in Blasting and painting inspection/testing of AG/UG coating system of these materials.
