Responsibilities

Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead Mechanical FAT Coordinator to join our UAE Business unit in Sharjah, UAE.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Mechanical FAT Coordinator.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:

  • Compilation of discipline Construction Work Packs
  • HSE input to construction work packs
  • Provide constructability input into engineering design
  • Review of Engineering deliverables
  • Provision of construction input to work packs to ensure a quality deliverable is produced
  • Assure constructability aspects of design

Qualifications

Expected:

  • Minimum 15 years’ experience in construction/construction work pack development in an O&G environment
  • Time served with relevant experience or ONC / HNC or equivalent
  • Shall have worked as a construction engineer or supervisor on onshore brownfield modifications work
  • Shall be proficient in taking engineering design deliverables and developing the necessary construction input into a work pack
  • Knowledge of, and experience in using WPS system a distinct advantage
  • Proficient in the use of Navisworks and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • Fluent spoken and written English
