O&M Engineer; Saudi Arabia

The O&M Engineer is responsible for supporting the safe, efficient, and reliable operation and maintenance of gas plant and pipeline systems. The role focuses on plant operations, mechanical equipment maintenance, and ensuring asset integrity in compliance with safety and operational standards.

• Perform and support day-to-day operations and maintenance activities for gas plants and pipeline systems.
• Monitor plant and pipeline performance to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Execute preventive, corrective, and breakdown maintenance activities.
• Maintain mechanical equipment, including static and rotary equipment such as vessels, heat exchangers, pumps, compressors, and valves.
• Diagnose equipment faults and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime.
• Support shutdowns, turnarounds, and major maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare maintenance reports, work orders, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with operations teams, contractors, and vendors during maintenance activities.
• Utilize SAP PM for maintenance planning, execution, and reporting (preferred).

Education:

• University degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering.

Experience:

• 5 - 8 years of experience in operations and maintenance of gas plants and pipelines.
• Proven experience in plant and pipeline operations.
• Strong hands‑on experience in maintenance of mechanical equipment (static and rotary).

Technical

Skills:

• Knowledge of gas processing facilities and pipeline systems.
• Expertise in mechanical maintenance practices and equipment reliability.
• SAP PM experience preferred.

• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills.
• Good understanding of safety procedures and permit‑to‑work systems.
• Ability to work in a team‑based operational environment.
• Effective communication and reporting skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to operational excellence.
