Job Scope
To perform preventative and corrective maintenance on SNOC’s instrument systems and to be part of the team delivering instrument upgrades and plant expansions.
Main Responsibilities- Ensure instrument reliability remains at its highest by reinforcing the use of proactive and predictive techniques.
- Support CMMS best practices e.g. entering accurate job plans data, failure codes and remarks Develops maintenance plans and CMMS best practices.
- Ensure that work is properly prepared, contains all risk identification and mitigations and is executed in a timely manner to minimize impact on coordination and production.
- Ensure that any deviations to the equipment design or integrity are captured in MOC and that all corrective actions within his area of supervision are addressed in a timely manner to minimize impact on asset operability.
- Two-year diploma in electronic and electrical engineering or instrumentation from vocational institute (ADVETI or similar).
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as instrument technician in process industry
- Must have completed military service or be ineligible for service
- UAE driving license
- Knowledge of Hazardous Area Certification (ATEX, API 505 etc)
- Knowledge and experience of rotating equipment machinery protection systems
- Formal training in Hazardous Area maintenance (COMPEX, UL, FM etc.) preferred
- Good team working & communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, receptive to change and capable of working effectively within a team environment.
- Good written and spoken English
- Computer literate
