MEP Estimation Engineer

Join Our Team as an MEP Estimation Engineer

Job Functions:

• Review tender BOQs, drawings, and specifications, performing accurate quantity take-offs for all MEP disciplines (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical, and ELV systems).
• Solicit competitive quotes from subcontractors and vendors for materials, equipment, and MEP works.
• Develop preliminary and detailed cost estimates, incorporating labor, materials, equipment, subcontracting, and overheads.
• Prepare tender study reports by analysing project scope, technical requirements, and design details.
• Implement tender strategies as directed by the Estimation Manager.
• Compile technical and commercial bid documents, ensuring full compliance with tender specifications and contractual requirements.
• Assist in post-tender negotiations and participate in pre-tender meetings and site visits to support project analysis.
• Maintain and update estimation records, pricing databases, and historical cost information for MEP projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or MEP discipline
• Minimum 7 years of experience in MEP estimation.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, electrical power & lighting, and ELV systems.
• Proficiency in quantity take-offs, cost estimation, and bid preparation for electromechanical works.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and coordination skills.
