Role OverviewOrbit International Survey Services (Orbit ISS) is seeking an experienced Freelance Multi Inspector to support Oil & Gas, Energy, and Industrial projects. The role involves performing multi-disciplinary inspection activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, and client requirements across various stages of project execution.
Key Responsibilities- Perform inspection activities related to welding, painting/coating, piping, and/or structural works as applicable.
- Verify materials, workmanship, and installation against approved drawings, ITPs, method statements, and project specifications.
- Conduct visual inspections, dimensional checks, and verification of fabrication, installation, and testing activities.
- Review and verify inspection records, reports, and quality documentation.
- Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances, ensuring timely corrective actions.
- Coordinate with construction, QA/QC, engineering, and client representatives during inspections.
- Ensure all inspection activities comply with ASME, API, ISO, AWS, NACE/AMPP, and project-specific standards.
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline.
- 3–5 years of experience as a Multi Inspector or QA/QC Inspector in Oil & Gas, Energy, or Industrial projects.
- Mandatory certifications: CSWIP, NACE/AMPP, BGAS, AWS, API, or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of inspection standards and codes (ASME, API, ISO, AWS, NACE).
- Proven hands-on experience in multi‑discipline inspection (Welding, Painting/Coating, Piping, Structural).
- Valid UAE Driving License.
- Must hold a valid Freelance / Own UAE Visa.
