Land surveyor

Overview

Land surveyor vacancy in Sharjah UAE. We are looking for an experienced Land Surveyor to join our team in Sharjah. The successful candidate will be responsible for surveying land or land features, such as natural and man-made areas, to create maps and three-dimensional models.

The Land Surveyor must have a good knowledge of relevant surveying principles and geomatics software, including AutoCAD, ArcGIS or similar software. The job involves careful calculation of distances, angles and elevations using specialized measuring equipment such as total stations, theodolites and GPS systems. The surveyor should be able to interpret existing maps accurately and provide detailed reports on their findings. They should also be able to check that construction is taking place according to the agreed plans for development.

In addition, the successful candidate must have excellent organizational skills and attention to detail in order to work with accuracy under tight deadlines. They should also be able to work independently or as part of a team as required.

The salary for this position is 1700 AED/month. We are willing to consider immigrants for this role.

• Survey land or land features to create maps and three-dimensional models.
• Use geomatics software (e.g., AutoCAD, ArcGIS) and measurement equipment (total stations, theodolites, GPS) to collect and analyze data.
• Interpret existing maps and prepare detailed reports of findings.
• Verify that construction work complies with approved plans.

• Experience as a Land Surveyor (preferred).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArcGIS or similar geomatics software.
• Ability to calculate distances, angles and elevations accurately using total stations, theodolites and GPS.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; ability to work under tight deadlines.
