About The Office Of Institutional Effectiveness (OIE)The OIE coordinates, facilitates, and advances assessment practices and processes campus‑wide to support evidence‑based decision making and planning. It showcases the high quality of teaching, learning, research, and publishing outputs, monitors strategic goals, assists with international accreditation, advances continuous assessment of operational functions, gathers and preserves institutional data, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements.
About The PositionThe Quality Assurance Compliance Coordinator ensures the university’s policies and procedures align with accreditation standards, maintains accreditation status, and monitors compliance across teaching, research, and knowledge production. The role develops mechanisms to inform units about regulatory expectations and schedules cyclical compliance monitoring.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor and ensure compliance with accreditation standards set by national and international accrediting bodies
- Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of accreditation requirements and communicate changes to relevant university stakeholders
- Ensure that all institutional policies and procedures adhere to international regulatory requirements
- Review university policies to align with current regulations and accreditation standards
- Work closely with academic departments to interpret and implement regulatory requirements within the university context
- Review and revise institutional policies to ensure compliance with local accreditation standards and regulatory requirements
- Collaboration with various GSU administrative units to ensure effective policy implementation
- Ensure all GSU related policies are regularly reviewed and updated to align with national standards and regulatory body requirements
- Follow department policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions to maintain controlled and consistent work processes
- Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
- Minimum of 3+ years of experience in regulatory compliance
- Experience with accreditation support, or related roles within higher education
- Experience working with administrative operations for corrective measures
- Strong understanding of accreditation processes and regulatory requirements
- Ability to interpret complex regulations and provide clear guidance to university stakeholders
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience with policy development and review is an advantage
