Overview

SECONDARY DIGITAL TECHNOLOGY TEACHER NEEDED FOR AUGUST 2026. This role is for a school in the Sharjah region with a 4-day work week (Monday to Thursday) and an August 2026 start date. The position is part of campus expansion with a tight timetable and the need to cover a small subject combination.

Salary and Benefits: tax-free salary starting from AED 11,500 per month; free furnished accommodation; comprehensive medical insurance; free annual flights (for employee and spouse).

Working Hours:

• Design and deliver secondary Digital Technology lessons that integrate digital tools and resources (computers, apps, online platforms) to create engaging, interactive learning experiences.
• Foster student-centred learning and develop skills relevant to a tech-driven world.
• Collaborate with colleagues to support curriculum delivery within the Australian / Inquiry-based framework.

• Australian curriculum experience preferred; IB background is a good fit; UAE and Middle East experience beneficial.
• Minimum of 2 years teaching experience (will consider less on a case-by-case basis).
• Preferred registration as a professional teacher (eg, VIT, QTS, etc.).
• Relevant teaching qualification required (minimum Bachelor’s degree).
• Bachelor degree in IT/Computer Science or related field.
