As a Consultant Ophthalmologist, you will be responsible for providing specialized eye care, conducting thorough evaluations, and managing complex medical and surgical cases. Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed eye examinations, including visual acuity tests and diagnostic imaging
• Diagnose and treat a wide variety of eye disorders and diseases
• Conduct surgical procedures, such as cataract extraction, retinal surgeries, and laser treatments
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs and findings
• Provide pre-operative assessments and post-operative care to ensure optimal recovery
• Educate patients and families about eye health, treatment options, and preventive care strategies
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to improve overall patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards
• Participate in continuous professional development and stay informed on latest trends in the field

• Medical degree with a specialization in Ophthalmology
• Current and valid medical license to practice as an ophthalmologist
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a practicing Consultant Ophthalmologist
• Proven track record of performing advanced ophthalmic surgeries
• Strong clinical and diagnostic skills in the evaluation of eye conditions
• Exceptional communication skills with a patient-centered approach
• Ability to work effectively within a diverse healthcare team
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documentation and care
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of additional languages is an advantage
