Geriatric Medicine Doctor

Our company is seeking a dedicated Geriatric Medicine Doctor to join our exceptional team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering specialized medical care to elderly patients, focusing on their unique healthcare needs and improving their overall quality of life through effective treatment and compassionate support.

• Perform comprehensive evaluations, including assessments of medical history, physical health, cognitive function, and daily living activities
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to the specific health challenges faced by geriatric patients
• Monitor chronic illnesses and manage complex health issues prevalent among older adults, ensuring appropriate treatment protocols are followed
• Provide education and guidance to patients and their families regarding health management, care options, and lifestyle changes
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care
• Maintain accurate medical records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and policies
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with advancements in geriatric medicine

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) degree from an accredited institution
• Board certification in Geriatric Medicine is required
• Valid medical license in the appropriate state
• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in geriatric medicine or related fields
• In-depth knowledge of geriatric syndromes and age-related health challenges
• Excellent communication skills with a compassionate approach towards elderly patients and their families
• Ability to work collaboratively in a diverse healthcare team
