We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead cost management and commercial activities across construction projects. The role involves overseeing budgeting, contracts, cost control, and mentoring junior QS staff to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead cost planning, budgeting, and financial control for projects
  • Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents
  • Manage contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts
  • Evaluate tenders and negotiate with contractors and suppliers
  • Monitor project costs, cash flow, and financial reporting
  • Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and consultants
  • Ensure compliance with contract terms and company procedures
  • Identify cost risks and value engineering opportunities
  • Mentor and supervise junior Quantity Surveyors
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5–07 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor
  • Strong knowledge of contract administration (FIDIC or equivalent preferred)
  • Proven experience in cost control, claims, and commercial management
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and QS software
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and leadership skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects independently
Preferred (Added Advantage)
  • Experience in large-scale residential, commercial, or infrastructure projects
  • Professional certification (RICS / MRICS or equivalent)
  • Strong understanding of local construction regulations
Skills
  • Lead cost planning, budgeting, estimating, and BOQ preparation
  • Manage contracts, variations, claims, and final accounts
  • Oversee cost control, forecasting, and cash flow management
  • Handle tendering, procurement, and commercial negotiations
  • Apply strong knowledge of construction contracts (FIDIC / NEC / JCT)
  • Use QS and project management software for accurate reporting
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate with QS teams and project stakeholders
