We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team and contribute to the success of our construction projects. As a Project Quantity Surveyor, you will play a crucial role in managing the costs related to building and civil engineering projects, from initial estimates to final valuations. Your expertise will help in ensuring that the projects meet legal and quality standards and are delivered within the budgetary constraints.

- Prepare and present detailed project cost reports and progress valuations.
- Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and construction personnel.
- Conduct risk, value management, and cost control throughout the project.
- Evaluate subcontractor applications and ensure timely payments and assessments.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and legal regulations in projects.
- Negotiate prices and terms with vendors and subcontractors effectively.
- Manage all aspects of the contractual and financial side of the projects.
- Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
- Review and evaluate client contracts and variations with diligence.
- Provide assistance in cash flow and financial forecasts for projects.
- Advise on a range of legal and contractual issues associated with projects.
- Maintain meticulous records of construction expenditures and transactions.
- Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction contracts and related legal matters.
- Proficiency in cost estimation software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills are essential for this role.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight project deadlines successfully.
- Professional membership with recognized body such as RICS is advantageous.
