Job Overview:

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced PSCM Specialist to join our Offshoring team in Sharjah, UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement, supply chain, and contract management activities for our offshore operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies for the offshore operations in line with the company's overall objectives
  • Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate contracts and terms of agreements
  • Manage the sourcing and procurement process, including tendering, bid evaluation, and supplier selection
  • Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of goods and services
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements and provide support and guidance on procurement processes
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure quality and cost-effective services
  • Conduct regular market research and stay updated on industry trends and best practices
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and relevant laws and regulations
  • Monitor and analyze procurement data to identify cost-saving opportunities and improve efficiency
  • Provide training and support to junior team members and ensure their development and growth within the organization
Qualifications and Skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management, preferably in an offshore environment
  • Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management, and supplier relationship management
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software
  • Knowledge of UAE procurement laws and regulations is an added advantage
  • Professional certification in procurement (e.g. CIPS) is preferred
