General Accountant; Arabic Speaker

Al Marwan Group is seeking a General Accountant with 4-6 years of accounting experience in the UAE construction / heavy machinery or real estate industry. The ideal candidate must have a strong understanding of full-cycle accounting, financial reporting, and compliance with UAE regulations. This role requires expertise in accounts payable (AP), accounts receivable (AR), reconciliations, taxation, and financial reporting.

• Perform full-cycle accounting, including journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements.
• Manage accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Conduct bank reconciliations, cash flow management, and expense tracking.
• Assist in budget preparation, cost control, and financial forecasting.
• Support internal and external audits by providing necessary financial records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with UAE financial regulations and company policies.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting or equivalent.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 4 years of accounting experience in a UAE-based construction, heavy machinery, or real estate environment.
• Language:
  Must be fluent in English and Arabic.
• Technical Knowledge:
  Strong understanding of accounting principles, VAT regulations, and financial compliance.
• Software Proficiency:
  Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.
