Job Description
We are seeking a meticulous and driven Junior Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. As a Junior Accountant, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budget preparations. This role is perfect for someone looking to grow and enhance their accounting knowledge and skills in a supportive environment. You will have the opportunity to work closely with senior accountants and gain exposure to numerous accounting functions.

- Assist in the preparation and examination of financial records and reports.
- Maintain and update accounting records and financial documents accurately.
- Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting activities.
- Prepare and process journal entries and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist in month‑end and year‑end closing processes to ensure timely completion.
- Verify and process accounts payable and receivable invoices timely and accurately.
- Help track and manage fixed asset inventories and records management.
- Support in auditing financial information for accuracy and compliance standards.
- Compile statistical, financial, accounting, or auditing reports and tables.
- Liaise with other departments to verify transaction details and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in preparing financial documentation and reports for senior accountants and managers.
- Assist in improving systems and procedures and initiate corrective actions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills are essential.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy in handling financial data.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
