Radiologic Technologists are responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, analyze data needed for diagnosis, and work independently or assist licensed practitioners. They also prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with laws and policies.
Job DutiesWork is performed in a clinical environment. Employees must comply with policies and procedures. Additional department-specific competencies may be required.
Position Details- New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
- Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps to advance to level 2 within 24 months.
- Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required).
- Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Preferred).
- Minimum of 1 year of related work experience (Preferred).
- Basic Life Support Certification.
- Radiography (R) - ARRT.
