Job Summary:

$20,000 sign-on bonus for eligible applicants! This posting reflects an opening for an X-ray Technologist I. We are seeking candidates for this position and reserve the right to consider applicants for higher levels, including X-ray Technologist II
, based on skills, qualifications, and experience. We encourage all qualified individuals to apply.

Radiologic Technologists are responsible for administering ionizing radiation for diagnostic, therapeutic, or research purposes. They perform a full scope of radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures, analyze data needed for diagnosis, and work independently or assist licensed practitioners. They also prepare, administer, and document activities related to medications and radiation exposure in accordance with laws and policies.

Job Duties
  • Ensure correct order is obtained, patient is properly identified and prepared, and clinical history is documented while respecting confidentiality.
  • Utilize appropriate imaging protocols, optimize technical factors, maximize patient safety, and apply ALARA principles.
  • Prepare and/or administer medications through vascular access sites as prescribed.
  • Evaluate images for proper positioning and quality; verify data storage and transfer.
  • Educate and monitor students and healthcare providers.
  • Assist licensed practitioners with fluoroscopic and specialized procedures.
  • Perform radiographic and fluoroscopic procedures outside the Radiology Department as prescribed.
  • Work is performed in a clinical environment. Employees must comply with policies and procedures. Additional department-specific competencies may be required.

    Position Details
    • New graduates must obtain ARRT-R registry within 6 months of hire.
    • Applicants hired after March 10, 2024, must complete steps to advance to level 2 within 24 months.
    Education
    • Graduate from a Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology (Required).
    • Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Preferred).
    Experience
    • Minimum of 1 year of related work experience (Preferred).
    Certifications and Licenses
    • Basic Life Support Certification.
    • Radiography (R) - ARRT.
