Landscape Delivery Driver – Mom's Design Build

Position available for immediate hire. Mom’s Design Build, a landscaping & construction company in Shakopee, is looking for a Delivery Driver to efficiently and safely deliver products while maintaining communication with the foreman, shop manager, Director of Operations, and vendors.

To deliver product in an efficient and safe manner, while maintaining communication with the foreman, shop manager, Director of Operations, and vendors to assure all needs are being met.

Reporting to the Director of Operations, responsible for planning and coordination of all landscape deliveries, developing routes and schedules in a fast‑paced team environment.

• Operate power‑driven machinery to load and unload materials.
• Communicate with co‑workers and vendors in person, on the telephone, or by radio.
• Communicate with people diverse in language ability, educational levels, and experience.
• Read and understand maps and directions.
• Keep records of work, time, and materials delivered.
• Desire to continue to improve skills and education in the landscape industry.

• Materials, methods, and skills used in various landscaping common to the Midwest region (a plus).
• Safety practices and procedures.
• Geographical street locations in the Twin Cities Metro Area.
• Landscaping materials (a plus).

• Knowledge of tools and equipment.
• Work indoors and outdoors in a variety of weather conditions.
• Willingness to assist landscape crews.
• Lift 50 lbs. to shoulder height.
• Desire to learn job‑related materials.
• Remain standing for extended periods.
• Remain sitting for extended periods.
• Travel over rough, uneven or rocky surfaces.
• Attach and disconnect equipment attachments.
• Maintain and display a positive attitude.
• Proactive approach to customer service.

• May wear a Mom’s Landscaping & Design hat or visor.
• Mom’s Landscaping & Design t‑shirt or polo‑style shirt.
• Khaki or tan cargo pants.
• Work boots.
• No jewelry.

• Class A Driver's License.
• Good driving record.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of landscape products (a plus).
• Demonstrated working knowledge of landscape equipment (a plus).

• 1–2 years driving experience.
• Organizational skills.
• Demonstrated oral and written communications skills.
• Experience with computer applications.

• Pay range $20.00–$28.00 per hour, dependent on qualifications.
