Assistant Store Leader; Assistant Manager

Overview

Retail Assistant Manager – Assistant Store Leader Trainee. If you enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience, we would love to talk with you about this role. • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
• Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
• Demonstrate strength in maintaining high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
• Handle cash transactions, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
• Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures; ensure store presentation and in-stock products.
• Communicate effectively and maintain intrapersonal skills with team members and customers.
• Assist with daily store operations to support a smooth running store experience.

• High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
• Ability to oversee and provide leadership in a retail setting; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred).
• Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance during employment.
• Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
• Demonstrated success in maintaining high retention by developing leaders and empowering employees.
