Position: Assistant Store Leader (Assistant Manager)

Overview

Retail Assistant Manager – Assistant Store Leader Trainee. If you enjoy working as part of a management team and have previous supervisory experience, we would love to talk with you about this role. We’re hiring immediately and are focused and dedicated to your success. We are committed to ensuring our employees receive proper training so they can confidently provide excellent customer service to our customers every time they visit.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and provide customer service leadership, training, and coaching alongside the Store Leader for all store employees.
  • Assist in implementing merchandising and marketing programs.
  • Demonstrate strength in maintaining high retention by identifying qualified applicants, developing leaders, empowering employees, and encouraging productivity.
  • Handle cash transactions, fuel transactions, and promote the loyalty program.
  • Maintain a clean, safe environment by complying with health and sanitation procedures; ensure store presentation and in-stock products.
  • Communicate effectively and maintain intrapersonal skills with team members and customers.
  • Assist with daily store operations to support a smooth running store experience.
Qualifications
  • High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required for candidates with at least one year of Retail Management experience.
  • Ability to oversee and provide leadership in a retail setting; strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Word, Excel preferred).
  • Valid Driver’s License from the state of residence with automotive liability insurance during employment.
  • Ability to multi-task, perform repeated bending, standing, reaching, and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Demonstrated success in maintaining high retention by developing leaders and empowering employees.
