* Entrust is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Strategic Events to lead the global event strategy - delivering high-impact experiences that elevate Entrust's brand, strengthen executive relationships, and drive measurable pipeline acceleration.
This role will own the global portfolio of flagship industry and executive events, ensuring every experience reinforces Entrust's brand narrative and business priorities. You will be accountable for the planning, execution, and measurement of events that engage key decision-makers, showcase our innovation, and create opportunities for sales and partner collaboration.
The ideal candidate is a strategic and detail-oriented leader who combines creative vision with commercial acumen. You understand how to design event experiences that deliver both emotional impact and business results - aligning marketing, sales, and customer success teams around shared objectives.
This is a global leadership role - focused on experience design, strategic planning, and ROI, not on campaign management or regional field activations.
** Responsibilities:*
* + Own Entrust's global event strategy, defining the purpose, audience, and success criteria for Tier 1 events and flagship industry trade shows
+ Lead the planning and execution of Entrust's major events and C-level experiences, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives, brand storytelling, and go-to-market priorities.
+ Partner with Sales, Product Marketing, and Brand teams to ensure events showcase Entrust's leadership, innovation, and value to customers and partners.
+ Oversee event portfolio management, including calendar planning, resource allocation, and prioritization to ensure high ROI and impact.
+ Develop playbooks and frameworks for event execution, measurement, and lead follow-up - ensuring consistency and scalability across the global marketing organization.
+ Integrate events into the broader marketing ecosystem, partnering with Growth Campaigns to ensure pre- and post-event engagement flows drive measurable pipeline progression.
+ Manage agency and vendor relationships, ensuring excellence in logistics, production, and attendee experience.
+ Establish event performance metrics - tracking ROI, engagement quality, and pipeline influence through consistent reporting and analytics.
+ Partners closely with Brand, Content, Product Marketing, Campaign teams to align event themes and content - but does not own campaign strategy, regional activation, or paid media.
+ Accountable for event strategy, execution, and ROI - ensuring experiences contribute to awareness, engagement, and pipeline growth.
+ Collaborates with Sales leadership on attendee strategy, executive participation, and event follow-up to ensure measurable business outcomes.
+ Serves as the center of excellence for experience design, defining Entrust's event standards, tiering, and measurement frameworks globally.
+ Lead and mentor a global team of event professionals responsible for experience design, logistics, and stakeholder engagement.

* Basic Qualifications:
*
* + 10+ years of experience in B2B event marketing, experiential marketing, or global brand activation, with at least 5 years leading large-scale corporate events.
+ Proven success designing and delivering events that drive measurable pipeline influence and elevate executive relationships.
+ Strong understanding of event strategy, logistics, and ROI measurement in a B2B or technology environment.
