* Complete mechanical and electrical assembly, test and troubleshooting tasks as needed
* Provide feedback on quality directly to assemblers, leaders and engineering as appropriate.
* Identify and implement process improvements that will reduce cost and improve quality
* Ensure final products meet order specifications
* May perform preventative maintenance, routine repair, and calibration of product and equipment
* Demonstrate awareness of and comply with all Quality policies while continuously identifying opportunities for improvement
* Understand and perform processes for manufacturing of product within work areas to achieve the required quality level
* Ensure quality requirements are all met and ISO 9001 standards are followed, which may include conducting training in the work area
* Train new hires on policies and procedures, safety policies, and work practices
* Follow safety policies and promote safe work practices
* Maintain cleanliness of the workplace and compliance towards ISO 14001 Environmental standards.
* Perform other duties and/or projects as assigned.
* Associates degree in electronics, electrical engineering technology, automated systems/robotics or related field or equivalent verifiable training (e.g., military training in relevant field)
* 8+ years of experience assembling and testing electro-mechanical equipment
* High level of mechanical aptitude
* Basic computer skills
* Able to work from and follow work instructions and engineering drawings
* Able to work in a sitting or standing position for extended time periods and able to lift and install mechanical assemblies that may weigh up to 50 pounds
* Must be able to lawfully work within the US and have unrestricted work authorization for US
* Able to learn new things quickly, work as part of a team, and exhibit a high level of initiative.
* Ability to recognize what needs to be done and will work with the team and manufacturing leadership to accomplish necessary tasks.
* Committed to continuous improvement
* Strong computer skills
* Previous experience with industrial automation equipment or specialized machines
* Experience working in a large capital custom machine building environment
