• Recruiting and developing qualified associates to meet staffing needs and achieve company growth potential.
• Overseeing job‑related activities and assignments while building accountability and measuring progress in achieving results.
• Providing supervision and development opportunities for associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, assigning duties, and recognition.
• Ensuring compliance with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards, and supporting the Open Door Policy.
• Building high‑performing teams that embrace diversity and foster a culture of belonging.
• Acting with integrity, respecting individuals, and serving customers and members while delivering results.
• Driving continuous improvements, adopting new technologies, and encouraging learning from mistakes.

• 2 years of college, OR 1 year’s retail experience AND 1 year’s supervisory experience, OR 2 years of general work experience AND 1 year’s supervisory experience.
• Successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training (for facilities that sell firearms).
• Successful completion of a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility (for facilities that sell only ammunition and have state‑specific requirements).
• Attendance and successful completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments (e.g., Academy trainings, Open Door trainings).

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
