Finance Intern

WHY DO WE NEED YOU?

Certain Teed Corporation, Roofing Division, is looking for a talented finance intern at our Shakopee MN Plant location, who can bring value added analysis to the Roofing finance team. This person will also be involved with some project(s) related to enhancing our existing analysis and reporting to management.

Key Projects this individual could be involved in:

• Pursuing a Bachelor degree in Accounting or Finance, CPA, CMA or MBA preferable or equivalent SAP/Qlikview and experience a plus (or other large ERP system)
• GL Wands experience a plus
• Magnitude experience a plus
• Power BI experience a plus
• Ability to handle and understand multiple IT platforms

• Strong analytical skills and ability to communicate across functions
• Solid foundation in general ledger accounting
• Experience analyzing variances in a manufacturing/cost accounting environment
• Strong Excel skills, including macros and pivot tables
• Ability to handle and understand multiple IT platforms
