Venue Nation is seeking a dedicated Cleaning/Maintenance Manager for Mystic Lake Amphitheater who will be responsible for the overall management of all cleaning functions in the venue, ensuring a clean, safe, and orderly experience for guests and crew. This role is a Part‑Time Seasonal position.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Interview, select, train, and supervise department staff to ensure maximum guest satisfaction.
- Organize and conduct meetings and communicate pertinent information to the staff.
- Schedule and direct staff in their work assignments.
- Conduct pre‑event inspections of all venue areas prior to opening to ensure cleanliness.
- Ensure and arrange for repair and/or replacement of damaged equipment.
- Purchase, reorder, and maintain adequate supplies and inventory of cleaning products.
- Perform any other tasks as assigned by the Operations Manager.
- Show CARE by participating in the venue’s sustainability program, including sorting waste, collecting recycling, and educating fans about our efforts.
- Partner with fellow crew members at the end of show to close the venue, including collecting recyclables from the lawn and/or reserved section, picking up and storing event equipment such as lawn chairs and barricades.
- Work with the scheduling payroll administrator to ensure that all staffing needs are met.
- Budget appropriately for each show’s needs while working to reach the overall operating per‑head goal.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1–3 years of experience in a comparable role.
- Attention to detail, quality, and accuracy.
- A positive outlook, strong communication skills including public speaking or meeting facilitation, and the ability to engage others.
- Accurate management of inventory and ordering of necessary items.
- Ability to maintain composure and organization in an often hectic and loud environment.
- Ability to work independently with strong relationship‑building skills.
- Position requires constant walking, climbing stairs, lifting and carrying 50 lbs+, and occasional sitting.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience handling diverse selections of tools and mechanisms.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and demonstrated experience finding creative, yet viable solutions.
- Flexible and approaches the job with a one‑team mentality regardless of the task.
- A natural interest in helping others and a heart for service, as well as a passion for delivering engaging and memorable fan experiences.
