Food and food service delivery drivers play a critical role in the country’s food supply chain. They ensure customers’ products arrive on schedule and in good condition, building lasting relationships with customers.

• Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally.
• Perform safety checks (pre/post‑trip) and inspections of tractor/truck and trailer per DOT regulations.
• Report all safety hazards, repairs required, and issues to management.
• Follow DOT and company safe‑driving guidelines.
• Inspect trailer for proper loading and secure freight.
• Count items and verify customer invoices at loading.
• Complete required paperwork accurately and legibly.
• Drive to and deliver customer orders according to the predetermined schedule.
• Unload products, scan, and coordinate removal of orders per company policy.
• Obtain proper signatures on deliveries and collect money when required.
• Secure trailer doors and ensure all equipment is locked.
• Perform general housekeeping in tractor, loading dock, and keep trailers clean.
• Complete daily hours‑of‑service record per Federal DOT, state, and company requirements.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

• Six (6) months commercial driving experience.
• Valid CDL‑A license.
• 21+ years of age.
• Meet all state licensing/certification requirements (if applicable).
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years.
• Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.
• Pass road test.
• Have or be able to obtain a current DOT Health Card.
• Able to hand‑lift and use equipment to move and stack product cases (10–90 lbs).
