Area Manager, Fleet Safety Base Pay Range

$65,500.00/yr - $98,000.00/yr

Seasoned professional with a passion for fleet safety and a knack for coaching drivers to success. Support Walmart transportation offices with expertise in DOT regulations and driver training.

• Support Walmart transportation offices in fleet safety operations.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations and other relevant safety standards.
• Provide driver training and coaching to enhance performance and safety.
• Develop and implement safety protocols and procedures.
• Leverage data to identify root causes of safety issues and apply solutions.
• Utilize data visualization tools to create informative safety dashboards for stakeholders.

• In-depth knowledge of DOT regulations.
• Proven experience in driver training and coaching.
• Strong data and digital literacy, ability to analyze data and develop insights.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage and implement technology solutions to improve safety processes.
• Knowledge of environmental policies and procedures is a plus.

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety management, environmental science, traffic safety, transit safety, or related area and 2 years’ experience in the field of safety within supply chain, retail, or related area.
• 4 years’ experience in the field of traffic safety within supply chain, retail, or related area.
• 2 years’ experience in continuous improvement methodologies (e.g., Total Productive Maintenance) within supply chain or transportation maintenance environments.

• Certified Safety Professional or equivalent certifications (Associate Safety Professional, Certified Industrial Hygienist, etc.).
• Microsoft Office Suite;
  SharePoint and One Drive skills.
