Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position requiring competency in circulating duties and key OR procedures.
Responsibilities- Work in the Operating Room of a hospital with 8 rooms
- Care encompasses General, GYN, ENT, and Urology cases
- Nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:1
- Utilizes Meditech EMR, Stryker Video Equipment, Bovie, and Gyrus
- Shifts are four 10-hour days or five 7.5-hour days, day shift
- No on-call responsibilities
- Main responsibilities include circulating, patient positioning, prepping, and intraoperative nursing care
- Hospital provides orientation checklist and competency review completed by peers
- Hospital scrubs are required
- Local candidates within 80 miles are considered at adjusted rates
- Active IN or compact RN license required
- Competency in operating room nursing, including circulating, positioning, and prepping patients
- Experience with General, GYN, ENT, and Urology cases required
