Position: 95L Team Manager - 3rd Shift: 10:30 pm-7:30am (On-Site)

DESCRIPTION

We are looking for a talented 95L 3rd Shift Team Manager to join our team specializing in Manufacturing for our Cummins Inc. facility in Seymour, IN.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

  • Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the day‑to‑day activities of the production team to ensure smooth workflow and timely achievement of production targets.
  • Drive Performance Excellence: Monitor team performance, set clear expectations, and provide constructive feedback to foster continuous improvement and accountability.
  • Enhance Safety Standards: Collaborate across functions to identify and implement safety improvements, promoting a culture of workplace safety.
  • Optimize Productivity & Efficiency: Recommend and support initiatives that streamline operations, reduce waste, and enhance overall productivity.
  • Champion Quality Assurance: Work with cross‑functional teams to uphold high‑quality standards and resolve any issues impacting product integrity.
  • Mentor and Develop Talent: Provide coaching and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and skill development.
  • Facilitate Effective Communication: Serve as a liaison between team members and leadership, ensuring clear communication of goals, changes, and expectations.
  • Lead Strategic Projects: Act as the group lead on key projects and assignments, driving results and fostering collaboration across departments.

Education, Licenses, Certifications

College, university or equivalent degree required, or equivalent experience required. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience

Supervisory experience preferred.
