Our night shift Switchboard Operators operate and monitor the hospital switchboard, answering and transferring calls as well as initiating alerts for special circumstances. This position also functions to provide support for ED registration.
Night shift, 6:00pm - 6:00am (7 shifts per 2 week pay period);
Holiday rotation
Pay rate starts at $13.43/hr + shift differential
JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION
Minimum:
High School Diploma/General Educational Development (G.E.D)
EXPERIENCE
Preferred:
One year experience with multi-telephone switchboard console.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
1. Effective, consistent adherence to Schneck's Standards of Behavior.
2. Effective operation and monitoring of switchboard console.
3. Effective, expedient reporting of emergency calls.
4. Effective assistance with the Registration of ER patients.
