Field Service Engineer – Seymour, IN

North American Construction Services, Ltd., a subsidiary of Fives North American Combustion, is hiring a permanent Field Service Engineer to join our team in Seymour, IN.

• Analyze the customer site situation, assemble information from the customer regarding the open issues, and create a plan to remedy identified opportunities.
• Commission, tune, and troubleshoot a variety of combustion systems.
• Navigate through PLC and HMI programs, making program changes under the supervision of the control group.
• Identify code compliance deviations and draft compliance letters as required.
• Assign quotes, create project folders, estimate, generate proposals, JSA’s, and project books for field services.
• Support external and internal sales opportunities.

• Availability to travel, up to 80 %.
• Work experience with equipment troubleshooting or commissioning.
• Hands‑on mechanical and electrical system work.
• Ability to read drawings and develop BOMs for costing.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in industrial process control or a related field, or equivalent training/experience.
• Associate degree in electrical, mechanical, or instrumentation technology, or equivalent experience.
