RN - Long Term Care - Seward

Role Summary

Providence is calling for a Registered Nurse in Seward, Alaska. We are a community of caregivers delivering everyday on our Mission to provide compassionate care that is accessible for all – especially those who are poor and vulnerable.

Up to $15,000 hiring bonus and relocation assistance for eligible full‑time external hires that meet required qualifications and conditions for payment.

Hours:

Full Time (36 Hours Weekly). Variable Shift.

• In charge of resident care for a specific group of residents.
• Supervises team members including Shahbazim.
• Coordinates referrals to other members of the clinical support team, families, and physicians.
• Serves as the point of contact for elder information.
• Nursing services delivered by Shahbazim are supervised by and directly accountable to the Director of Nursing through the licensed nurses.

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Upon hire:
  Alaska Registered Nurse License.
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS – American Heart Association.

• 6 months of nursing experience in a healthcare facility (acute care, long‑term care, rehabilitation center).
• Supervision/leadership experience.

Wage range: $43.12 – $66.95 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on‑call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
