About The Role

Support planning, procurement, order management and FSQ through hands on execution. Executes transactional work tied to raw material setup, product movements between Petsource and third‑party providers, purchase order execution, customer order entry, and production material readiness analytics. Also supports FSQ by coordinating collection of required documentation from suppliers for new item qualification. All work is executed under defined guidance and standard work.

This role does not own decisions on movements, purchasing, or material readiness and does not have item qualification interpretation or approval authority.

Job Functions
  • Operational & Inventory Execution Support – Execute approved product movements between Petsource and vendors as directed by the Production Planner. Perform assigned operational tasks aligned to production and inventory plans, and elevate discrepancies or delays promptly.
  • Procurement, ERP & Order Processing – Process purchase orders and execute ERP transactions under the direction of the Procurement Specialist. Perform accurate and timely customer order entry in accordance with established procedures, escalating errors or system issues as required.
  • Master Data & Reporting Support – Maintain ingredient item master data in compliance with defined data standards. Run standard reports to support planning and procurement readiness, and identify and communicate potential inventory gaps or risks without making independent readiness decisions.
  • Quality & Food Safety Documentation Coordination – Support Quality and Food Safety activities through supplier documentation collection, tracking, and follow‑up. Maintain accurate and organized records in accordance with requirements; no authority to interpret, approve, or modify FSQ standards.
  • Compliance, Standard Work & Escalation – Execute all work in accordance with documented SOPs, checklists, and standard work. Adhere to internal controls and documented handoffs, elevate issues promptly, and do not make independent decisions related to product movements, purchase orders, or material readiness.

In performing their responsibilities, employees are expected to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision, interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers, work effectively as a team contributor and independently while understanding the necessity for communication with other employees and throughout Scoular.

About You
  • Relevant supply chain experience or experience in a food manufacturing environment preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills including lookups, pivots, and basic analysis.
  • ERP experience preferred. Dynamics experience a plus.
  • High attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Comfortable working across planning, procurement, operations, and quality.
  • Clear written and verbal communication.
  • Willing to learn supply chain and food safety/quality concepts.
