Shuttle Driver - CDL

Position Summary

Shuttle Driver – CDL – responsible for safely transporting guests and cargo using company vehicles in Alaska. This role supports Pursuit’s experience by ensuring guests receive timely and friendly service.

• Use company transportation assets to safely move guests and cargo in a friendly and timely manner.
• Conduct pre‑ and post‑operation maintenance on assigned vehicle daily and annotate issues correctly.
• Operate shuttles along assigned routes and report any changes or challenges to the coordinator.
• Coordinate and communicate with guest service, group coordination, and marine staff to ensure optimal service and information sharing.
• Maintain records in accordance with company, state, and DOT requirements regarding vehicle maintenance, driver activities, and traffic incidents.

• Commercial Driver’s License with passenger and air brake endorsement.
• Knowledge of Alaska and Seward history, geography, and standard attractions.
• Familiarity with the Alaska Collection products.
• Excellent guest/customer service skills, including speaking with guests, assisting them in solving problems, and dealing with angry or disappointed guests positively.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 70 pounds.
• Ability to work in harsh weather conditions for long hours on a variable schedule.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience.

The starting wage for this role is $27.00/hour.
