Full Time, Variable Shift
Under direct supervision this position is accountable to the RN to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient/resident, family and providers in the department in completion of the duties delegated to them for the shift and maintaining clear communication between the needs of the patient/resident through the RN. These activities focus on maintaining a safe, hazard free, clean environment which facilitates patient/resident focused care.

Required Qualifications- Successful completion of Caring Reliably, Culinary Training, Serv Safe, and Dining Assistance within four months of hire.
- Completed training as a Certified Nursing Assistant.
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS – American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
- 6 months of experience as a nurse aide, nursing assistant or personal care attendant in long term care or hospital.
