• Delivers wood trusses and beams to the jobsite, via a semi-truck with roll-off stretch trailer (up to 70 ft) or a straight truck with a rollback bed. Loads may be over width/length and must be escorted per DOT guidelines. Inspects and maintains truck, reports shortages, and assists in loading and storing materials.
• Physical job requiring some loading/unloading assistance.
• Moves materials to or from vendor delivery vehicles, storage, work sites, or designated areas using a forklift, dolly, and other devices.
• Provides customer service while unloading building materials ranging from truss to trim.
• Prompts deliveries and returns to the store in a timely manner.
• Works on the yard to assist customers between delivery assignments.
• Assists yard workers in unloading and storing returned merchandise.
• Assists forklift operators with building delivery loads.
• Acts with a sense of urgency to provide prompt service to customers.
• Relays messages sent by customers during job-site deliveries.

• Minimum of 6 months previous experience driving a truck (lumber experience and experience with hauling oversized loads preferred).
• F-endorsement on a valid driver's license.
• Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screen.
• Desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Teamwork mentality.
• Ability to work in environments requiring driving on steep, narrow roads (Sevierville).
