Join the loudest store in the mall! We're looking for music and pop culture fanatics to help create the best experience for our customers. As a Hot Topic Seasonal Sales Associate, you'll be a significant part of our success by providing excellent customer service, sharing your fandom knowledge, stocking and replenishing products, and merchandising the store visually appealingly, all while focusing on the in-store experience.

What You'll Do
  • Provide an engaging shopping experience that encourages customers to return, showcasing your product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • Maintain the sales floor and ensure areas meet visual standards.
  • Operate the register, process sales transactions, and promote additional benefits like BOPIS and curbside pickup.
  • Assist with planogram changes, including store layout, wall displays, fixtures, and merchandising.
  • Communicate fashion and music trends to management and HQ partners.
  • Work with Store Management to prevent theft and misuse of spells and wizardry.
  • Help keep the stock room organized and the store tidy.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve store goals.
  • Perform any other activities assigned by your Store Leader.
    • What You'll Need
  • Previous retail experience is preferred; a love for music and pop culture is a plus!
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • You must be at least 16 years old to join the team.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Ability to navigate the store, merchandise products using store equipment, and lift up to 50 pounds.
