Overview
The full‑time Frame Puller is responsible for accurately and promptly pulling outgoing frame orders and hitting a minimum weight goal per year. This is a warehouse associate position that acts as a material handler, inventory associate, and forklift operator.
- Loading and unloading freight such as lumber and/or building supplies.
- Achieving a minimum weight goal per year (Year 1: 8,000 lbs/hour, Year 2: 9,000 lbs/hour, Year 3: 10,000 lbs/hour, Year 4: 11,000 lbs/hour, etc.).
- Maintaining a safe, clean and well‑organized lumber yard and caring for equipment.
- Shrink control.
- Forklift training, certification, and operation.
- Communicating delays or discrepancies to management.
- Accurately pull outgoing frame orders.
- Maintain area of responsibility.
- Keep management aware of any delays or discrepancies.
- Maintain a safe, clean and well‑organized lumber yard and caring for equipment.
- Shrink control.
- Forklift training, certification, and operation.
- Communicating delays or discrepancies to management.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos; write simple correspondence; effectively present information to others one‑on‑one.
- Must be able to periodically lift up to 80 pounds.
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
