This position requires a minimum of 5 years of electrical or instrumentation maintenance experience.

Two years of "Step-up Supervisor" or other similar leadership experience is preferred.

• The IEA Maintenance Supervisor provides continuous oversight of execution of maintenance work, communicates deviations to work schedules, ensures improvements to the execution process are clearly communicated, and promptly inputs necessary closure and reliability data for each job.
• Ensure all employees and contractors work safely and comply with all policies and procedures.
• Provide I&E maintenance expertise to facilitate repairs correctly and expeditiously.
• Coordinate with production and maintenance supervisors in preparing PM programs and ensure programs function properly with required records kept.
• Coordinate maintenance work to provide continuity of maintenance programs and use proper materials of quality construction for equipment repairs.
• Screen work orders for spare parts/materials and assist in establishing required stocks for the warehouse.
• Respond to breakdowns, emergencies or abnormal conditions to expedite repairs.
• Establish technical and safety training programs and provide updated material to technicians, keeping them informed on new equipment, techniques, and safety practices.
• Initiate required training to continually upgrade instrument and analyzer technical skills.
• Ensure that all regulatory records are kept as required by agencies and ensure compliance with applicable ISO 9001 procedures and practices.
• Supervise LYB and contract IEA technicians daily and participate in developing the daily maintenance work schedule.
• Provide updates to scheduler for changes in resource loading and review job packages for constructability or safety concerns.
• Assign personnel to work orders on the daily schedule and ensure the availability of necessary resources to guarantee safe execution of maintenance tasks.
• Monitor applicable performance indicators, scheduling, and make decisions on deviations; participate in troubleshooting and issue resolution.
• Ensure data accuracy of collected information (performance vs forecasts, deviations, actions taken).
• Adhere to guidelines to create consistency with other areas with similar roles and responsibilities; ensure compliance with Company Operational Excellence Standards and site procedures.
• Propose procedure revisions to continuously improve site performance and compliance requirements.
• Assess employee skills, provide training and coaching as needed; provide recognition and feedback to employees.
• Supervise employees in a bias-free, non-discriminatory manner in hiring, promotions, performance improvement, and other personnel decisions.
• Communicate effectively with technicians and between shift, day staff, and management; administer company policies and procedures.
• Champion innovative ideas from site employees and maintain off-hours accountability for maintenance costs, productivity, and HSE.
