An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Fertility Nurse, with extensive Fertility Nursing and Nurse leadership skills and experience, to join our small, friendly team.
ResponsibilitiesSupporting the Fertility Nurse Manager in managing the Fertility Nursing team, acting as a role model and promoting clinical excellence, and undertaking the complete role of the Fertility Nurse while mentoring staff in all aspects of their role.
Main Duties of the Job- Function as an expert clinical practitioner within the designated clinical area, delivering direct patient care while managing, leading, coordinating, and overseeing nursing practice.
- Hold 24‑hour continuing responsibility for the coordination and monitoring of all clinical activities within the designated area.
- Ensure efficient and effective utilization of all resources required to deliver optimum quality care to the client group.
- Deputise for the Fertility Nurse Manager in their absence, driving forward evidence‑based practice and taking responsibility for the supervision of staff and the policies and practices within the clinical area.
- Work Monday to Friday during office hours, with participation in out‑of‑hours work to support service delivery as needed.
