Position: Headteacher (Permanent)

The Governors are seeking a Headteacher who can build upon these strong foundations, driving improvement while nurturing a culture of inclusion, creativity, and high expectations for both pupils and staff. You will be joining a supportive trust and an Executive Headteacher who values collaboration, innovation, and compassionate leadership.

Job Role:

Providing strategic and inspirational leadership that drives continuous improvement across the school.
Leading a dedicated team to deliver an engaging, high-quality education for pupils with complex and moderate learning needs.
Fostering a positive, nurturing environment where every pupil feels valued, safe, and supported.
Working in partnership with parents, carers, governors, and external professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.
Managing the school’s budget and resources effectively to support both academic and personal development goals.
Championing an ambitious and creative curriculum that meets the needs of all learners and promotes independence and confidence.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Headteacher, Executive Headteacher, or Deputy Headteacher in a SEND or mainstream setting.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS); NPQH or NPQEL desirable.
Strong understanding of SEND provision, safeguarding, and inclusive education practices.
A confident communicator who can inspire staff, engage parents, and build positive partnerships with external agencies.
A strategic thinker with the ability to combine vision with practical leadership and day-to-day operational excellence.
