Advanta are looking for a reliable and motivated Metro Driver to join our Sydney team in a full time role. This position suits someone who has a MR or HR licence enjoys variety - combining driving and despatch duties Monday to Friday.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a reliable and motivated Metro Driver to join our Sydney team in a full time role. This position suits someone who has a MR or HR licence enjoys variety - combining driving and despatch duties Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely delivering and collecting goods across the Sydney metro area
- Supporting daily despatch operations, including loading, unloading, and organising freight
- Completing simple warranty repairs and basic maintenance tasks of chairs
- Ensuring all delivery documentation and records are accurate and up to date
Maintaining a clean, safe, and well organised work environment
Desired Skills and ExperienceAbout You:
You’re reliable, proactive, and hands on, you will bring:
- A valid driver’s licence (MR or HR preferred)
- Strong attention to detail with a willingness to help out; wherever needed
- Basic repair skills with hand held tools (highly desirable)
- A forklift licence or the willingness to obtain one
- Clear communication skills and a positive, team‑focused attitude
- Computer literacy is required.
- Strong willingness to learn, contribute to the team, and follow instructions.
