Development Director (Academic)
Seoul, South Korea
Start July or August 2026
An established multi-campus international school group in Seoul is seeking an exceptional senior leader to drive academic strategy across its organisation.
The group delivers a full British curriculum pathway from Early Years to A Level, serving both Korean and international students. Schools are intentionally small, enabling highly personalised learning, strong parent relationships and visible student progress.
This is a system leadership role, not a single-school position. You will shape academic direction across the entire organisation.
Your impact
* Lead and align academic standards across multiple campuses.
* Drive curriculum coherence, assessment quality and data-informed improvement.
* Develop and coach Headteachers and senior leaders.
* Strengthen quality assurance, inspection readiness and safeguarding systems.
* Represent the organisation with Boards, parents and external partners.
* Translate long-term strategy into measurable action.
Who we want
* Qualified teacher with PGCE or equivalent.
* Proven whole-school or multi-school leadership experience.
* Strong track record of coaching teachers and leaders.
* Strategic thinker with outstanding communication skills.
