LDRP RN – Night Shift Shift & Schedule
• Nights: 3×12-hour shifts (7:00p–7:30a)
• Call & floating required
• Weekend coverage:
Every other weekend Unit Overview
• LDRP with nursery responsibilities
• Baby-Friendly Facility
• RNs cross-trained in: – Labor & Delivery circulator role – Acute care nursery – OB triage
• Unit also cares for GYN surgery patients
• RNs perform newborn hearing screenings Staffing Ratios
• Labor patients: 1:1
• Cytotec inductions: 1:2
• Magnesium patients: 1:1
• Couplet mother/baby care: 1:3
• Sick nursery infants: 1:1 Requirements
• RN state license
• 2+ years experience
• 1 year EPIC experience required
• First-time travelers considered based on experience Certifications Required
• BLS
• ACLS
• NRP
• AWHONN Intermediate Systems & Equipment
• Medication System:
Omnicell
• Charting:
Epic Floating
• Floating required as needed per Prisma Health policy
• Limited to units where RN is qualified and competency-documented
