Position Overview:We are seeking a dedicated Per-Diem Registered Nurse for an opening at a Medical Center in Selma, AL. In this role, you will deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic setting, managing a diverse patient population and collaborating with a skilled healthcare team.

- Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license from the state of Alabama.
- Experience: Minimum of 6 months of RN work experience.
- Technical
Skills:
Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support preferred). - Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, effective communication, cultural competency, collaboration, adaptability, and a positive attitude.
- Credentialing Requirements: Clean background check, negative TB test results, annual physical, COVID-19 vaccination, and other requirements as specified by the facility or agency.
- Provide comprehensive patient care across all phases of the endoscopy experience, including pre-procedure assessment and education, intra-procedure sedation monitoring and physician assistance, and post-procedure recovery and discharge.
- Safely administer and monitor moderate sedation, continuously assessing the patient's vital signs, airway, and response to medications during procedures.
- Prepare, maintain, and assist in the endoscopy suite by ensuring all specialized equipment and instruments are ready, functioning properly, and handled according to strict infection control and sterile processing protocols.
- Document all care accurately and completely in patient records, from initial assessment through discharge, in compliance with clinical and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate effectively with the endoscopy team (physicians, technicians, and other staff) to ensure efficient, safe, and high-quality patient outcomes.
