Qualifications- High school diploma or GED required.
- Banking, cash handling, sales, and customer service experience preferred.
- Helps foster a positive work environment that inspires, motivates, challenges, supports and provides ongoing recognition for exceptional performance.
- Provide excellent customer service while identifying sales opportunities and performing account transactions as a Customer Service Advisor (CSA).
- Be responsive to the immediate needs of the Banking Center and proactively provide CSR and sales platform support as needed.
- Engage in consumer and business relationship building and promote Bank products and services.
- Comply with all Bank policies, procedures, and security measures.
- Open new deposit accounts and connect with customers to determine needs, make recommendations and referrals.
- Initiate outbound calls focused on customer onboarding, prospecting Retail customers, and promoting bank products for new and existing retail relationships.
- Participate in community service opportunities in the specific community or market.
- Identify referral opportunities and promote cross-selling of Bank products and services.
- Maintain security controls and proper cash handling procedures; support day-to-day operations including cash drawer balancing and vault duties as applicable.
- Build and maintain relationships with internal partners and contribute to team goals.
- Conduct outbound calling activities, promote bank products, and make referrals aligned with location goals.
- Educate team on opportunities to advance customers’ financial wellness.
- Banking is a regulated industry; maintain proficiency in bank policies and procedures and complete compliance training timely.
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook 365 and the ability to learn various Banking Software programs.
- Strong consumer lending skills and understanding of consumer lending products preferred.
- Ability to generate new financial relationships through outbound calling, internal business development, and building a loyal customer base.
- Effective communicator; clearly express concepts, ideas, and product information verbally and in writing.
- Strong product knowledge for selling and promoting products; excellent organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Sound mathematical and analytical skills.
- Ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
