Job Description
Base pay starts at $20.00/hour + $3.00 shift differential
2nd Shift: 3:30PM – 12:00AM
, hours may vary depending on operations

A Loader is the last person to see the product before it gets to our customer. Each product load has a direct reflection on Metal Sales and thus accuracy and care must occur with every product load.
Duties and Responsibilities- Safely operating a forklift to load Metal Sales multi-stop trucks and customer will calls as they come in.
- Ensuring product is damaged free and piece counts match order.
- Visually inspecting trailer before loading and reporting anything unusual.
- Checking fluids on loading trucks.
- Assisting in unloading & loading of C/C trucks as needed.
- Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other.
- Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment
- Ability to safely operate a forklift
- Basic math skills, including ability to read a tape measure
- Ability to work independently and with others
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively
- Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift
- Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months
- Noise level is moderate to loud
