Base pay starts at $20.00/hour + $3.00 shift differential
2nd
Shift: 3:30PM - 12:00AM, hours may vary depending on operations

A Loader is the last person to see the product before it gets to our customer. Each product load has a direct reflection on Metal Sales and thus accuracy and care must occur with every product load.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Safely operating a forklift to load Metal Sales multi-stop trucks and customer will calls as they come in.
* Ensuring product is damage free and piece counts match order.
* Visually inspecting trailer before loading and reporting anything unusual.
* Checking fluids on loading trucks.
* Assisting in unloading & loading of C/C trucks as needed.
* Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment and assisting in other
Qualifications
* Experience working in a distribution or manufacturing environment
* Ability to safely operate a forklift
* Basic math skills, including ability to read a tape measure
* Ability to work independently and with others
* High school diploma or GED
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
* Must be able to read, hear, talk, drive lift trucks, wear PPE, and lift up to 75 lbs. repetitively
* Must be able to stand, walk, and/or sit approximately 7 ½ hours minimum per work shift
* Must be able to tolerate extreme temperature changes in the winter and summer months
* Noise level is moderate to loud
