Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi-beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers & soft drinks, including Carlsberg Danish Pilsner, 1664, Poretti and Brooklyn, and ale favourites such as Hobgoblin and Wainwright. For soft drinks, Carlsberg Britvic’s brands include J2O, Robinsons, Tango and London Essence, along with the licence rights to the Pepsi portfolio in the UK including Pepsi MAX, 7UP, Lipton Iced Tea and Rockstar Energy.

About the roleAs Credit Controller, you will be responsible for managing a sales area ledger, including customers on credit and cash terms. Working closely with the Credit Manager, you will minimise risk and exposure while maximising sales.

Role Responsibilities- Daily credit management of ledgers, ensuring accounts are paid to terms agreed and any overdue debt is collected.
- Managing risk by regular phone contact with customers and sales managers.
- Working effectively with customer queries, claims and payment plans, keeping relevant query spreadsheets updated.
- Reviewing and assessing any held orders to manage risk, always referring to our internal matrix, ensuring customers and sales teams are updated and within the necessary timescale.
- Reviewing and maintaining accurate master data records by actioning reports promptly and ensuring compliance with GDPR rules.
- Raising pro‑forma invoices for cash with customer orders.
- CICM qualification desired.
- Previous experience as a credit controller in an FMCG business is desired.
- Working knowledge of ERP (SAP), 365 Office.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational skills with great attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise and plan daily tasks without need for referral.
- Have worked in an organisation which is fast paced, demanding and results driven.
- Working as part of a larger team contributing and delivering joint objectives as well as individual.
