Salary: £88 – £110 per day
Start Date: February 2026
Contract: Full-Time
GSL Education are seeking an experienced Behaviour Mentor to provide targeted support to secondary pupils in Selby.
About the SchoolThe school values strong pastoral support and early intervention, offering mentoring programmes to help students overcome behavioural and emotional barriers to learning.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver 1:1 mentoring sessions
- Support pupils at risk of disengagement
- Encourage positive behaviour and attendance
- Liaise with pastoral and SEN teams
- Previous mentoring or youth support experience
- Ability to build trust with young people
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
- Please be advised that this role requires a strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection and that successful applicants must satisfy all background safer recruitment checks including an enhanced DBS on the update service.
